Preview Day Sessions


STUDENT FINANCIAL SERVICES with MR. BEN BAKER:

This session on financial aid will feature information about filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), scholarship opportunities at UNA, projected costs for the 2012-2013 academic year, and how academic performance affects eligibility for financial aid. There will be financial aid counselors available to answer personal questions.


CAREER PLANNING and DEVELOPMENT with MS. MELISSA MEDLIN:

Career Planning and Development (CPD) at UNA helps equip students and alumni with the necessary skills and resources for the lifelong process of career decision making. CPD staff will facilitate interactive exercises to begin the process of choosing a career and thus a college major. An overview of assessments and other career decision making resources available to prospective students will also be presented.


THE HONORS PROGRAM with DR. VINCE BREWTON:

The Honors Program at UNA is a special degree option for exceptionally qualified students. All majors are eligible to apply. Dr. Vince Brewton, Director of the Honors Program, will discuss Program benefits, scholarships, degree requirements, and admission standards during a brief presentation. Dr. Brewton and current Honors students will answer questions at the end of the session.
