NOMINATE NOW FOR 2008
HOMECOMING AWARDS

The UNA National Alumni Association seeks nominations for the 2008 UNA "Alumni of the Year" Awards and Service Awards to be presented during Homecoming.  At least one alumnus (but not more than three) will be selected as AOY. Nominees must have graduated from UNA at least four years prior to the time of their nominations. Consideration will be given to those nominees whose careers have been of highly credible nature and to those who have contributed significantly in service endeavors. Former recipients are not eligible. You may make as many nominations as you desire. A committee of faculty/staff members and NAA board members will review and determine winners after resumes have been solicited and received by the Alumni Office from the nominees.

Your nominations must be received by the Office of Alumni Relations by June 25, 2008. You may e-mail your nominations to alumni1@una.edu or fax them to (256) 765-6011  or send them in the form on site. Telephone the Office of Alumni Relations at (256) 765-4201 for additional information. The nominee's address must accompany nomination (additional biographical information may be included). 

Additionally, make suggestions for the following award categories: Political Service, Community Service, Military Service, Faculty/Staff, and Friend of the University. Each of the above awards is designed to honor a graduate of UNA with the exception of Friend of the University.
