Mary Hanson is originally from LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical Communications from Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduation, Mary worked as a technical writer at Century Design, a consulting firm in Minneapolis specializing in the design, development, and production of industrial and business training programs. After that she was Project Manager at Business Incentives Performance Service, a full-service marketing company in Minneapolis that combines communications, training, measurement, and rewards into performance improvement programs. Prior to moving to Alabama, she was the Documentation Manager at Retek Oracle, a software company in Minneapolis that provides enterprise-wide software solutions to the retail industry.
