Graduate Assistant Orientation

Graduate Assistant (GA) Orientation is required for all students who are employed as Graduate Assistants.

During orientation we will discuss Student Employment Policies and Procedures and distribute GA Handbooks.

If there has been a change your name, banking information or tax information, you may make changes during orientation. Please bring the appropriate documentation to support the change(s) such has current original form of ID or a voided check.

If you are not available to attend group orientation, due to a conflict with your class schedule, please contact Career Planning and Development located in the GUC Room 202. Our office hours are 8am - 4:30pm. If you have any questions prior to orientation, please contact Career Planning and Development @ 256-765-4276.

Please Note: Orientation choices are not guaranteed. All orientation sessions are limited to the first 25 students to register. If you register for a session that is at capacity, you will receive an email notification prompting you to register for another session. Otherwise, please show up on the day and time that you select. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE AUTOMATED CONFIRMATION. PLEASE SHOW UP ON THE DAY AND TIME YOU SELECT.
