MISSION:

Our mission is to provide lifelong learning opportunities for people of all ages in the Shoals/tri-state region and beyond. Additionally, the Office of Continuing Studies and Outreach assists in the promotion of the University's "brand" and image through outreach functions in Coby Hall and across the region. We serve as the University's primary means of extending its educational and training resources to the non-traditional student, especially to adults seeking continued personal and professional development, and to employers seeking updated workplace skills and productivity improving knowledge.

VISION:

The Office of Continuing Studies and Outreach is dedicated to being the leading lifelong learning provider in the region; and in selected fields, the leading provider in Alabama and the southeast. We expect to be the most successful lifelong learning provider among similar institutions in comparable markets.
