Continuing Education Credits:

The Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy has approved 8 hours GA&A CPE hours credit for each day. These seminars may also qualify for similar credit in Florida, Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi, as well as other states. CERTIFIED GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL MANAGER (CGFM) CPE CREDIT:

Complying with the CGFM CPE requirements, including appropriate training, is the responsibility of the individual certificate holder. The CGFM program does not establish detailed criteria for CPE programs. If you should have any question about the applicability of these seminars, please refer to paragraphs 24 through 35 of AGA’s Continuing Education Handbook.

NEED CPE HOURS? UNA OFFERS ONLINE SELF-STUDY LEADERSHIP & SUPERVISOR CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Earn your twenty-four hour “UNA Online Leadership & Supervisor Certificate.” This new online certificate program is being offered by UNA’s Continuing Studies and Outreach and enables more organizations that ever before to equip leaders at all levels with the skills that really empower leadership success and great team performance. The Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy verified that each module may count toward the 20-hour CPE self study requirements. A two-hour certificate will be given upon successful completion of each module for verification. These seminars may meet similar credit requirements in other states. If you have any questions about credit, please call your approving board.

The twelve modules in the new online series takes approximately two hours each to complete and include The Essentials (Essential Skills of Leadership and Essential Skills of Communicating) and ten Interpersonal modules on Delegating, Supporting Change, Communicating Up, Resolving Conflicts, Improving Work Habits, Managing Complaints, Coaching Job Skills, Effective Discipline, Developing Performance Goals and Standards, and Providing Performance Feedback. An assessment is given at the end of each module. The cost of each module is $59.
