University Partnership of Alabama for Continuing Education
UPACE brings you the ACAA, ACEA, CROAA, and AAND Certificate Programs
The Association of County Administators of Alabama, the Association of County Engineers of Alabama, the County Revenue Officers Association of Alabama, and the Alabama Association of 9-1-1 Districts are affiliate organizations of the Association of County Commissions of Alabama and represent professionals serving in administrative, engineering, revenue, emergency communicators, and other related capacities in county government.
The University Partnership of Alabama Continuing Education has partnered with the ACAA, ACEA, CROAA, and AAND to provide on-going education and training programs leading to either a certificate or certification for administrators, a certificate for engineers, a certificate for revenue officers, and a certificate for emergency communicators.
The UPACE partnership consists of The University of North Alabama, Jacksonville
State University, and Troy State University Dothan. Programs are offered jointly
providing a full range of services necessary to support the professional development
goals of the associations. Services are:
• Planning the curriculum
• Selecting the faculty
• Handling the logistics
• Providing registration services
• Providing record keeping and reporting services
