Timothy Scott Carter, 53, from Town Creek, AL and New Orleans, LA, passed away April 24, 2011, after a valiant battle with melanoma.

In 2008, he was awarded the Service Award by the Security and Crime Prevention Section of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. He was most honored by his selection as the 2006-2007 Makisu Award winner for his service to students while at Lycoming College.
The students, faculty, staff, and administration dearly miss him as a member of the UNA family.
