Culinary Take Out Schedule
The Culinary Art Department is offering Wednesday, February 29th a German Cuisine Take-Out consisting of:
Wiener schnitzel (veal cutlet Viennese style)
Spaetzle (small noodle-like dumplings)
Blaukraut (sweet and sour red cabbage)
Linzertorte (spiced dough filled with raspberry preserves)

UNA Culinary Arts Summer Community Events 2011
In June 2007, the University of North Alabama received approval for a four year Culinary Arts concentration from The Alabama Commission on Higher Education (ACHE). Students completing the concentration will be prepared in:
- Culinary Arts
- Facilities Management
- Budget and Cost Control
- Appreciation of Cultural Diversity
- Visual Presentation of Food
- Educational Requirement for Chef Certification
Job opportunities for qualified culinary managers are substantial in the southeast and other parts of the United States with a strong potential for growth. The interest in the culinary and hospitality industry is evident in the current growth patterns of the industry and media programming based on the population’s interest in foods and nutrition. This program is designed to serve and to enhance the emerging needs of the food service industry in our immediate area and beyond.
