UNA offers undergraduate programs that lead to Alabama Professional Educator Certification in the following teaching fields: biology, business marketing, chemistry, collaborative teacher, early childhood, elementary, English language arts, family and consumer sciences, French, general science, general social science, geography, German, history, mathematics, music-choral, music-instrumental, physical education, physics, Spanish, and visual arts.

The College of Education & Human Sciences offers undergraduate non-teaching majors/concentrations in exercise science, fitness management, health promotion, recreation, and sport management in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation; and child development, culinary arts, foods and nutrition, interior design, and merchandising in the Connie D. McKinney Department of Human Sciences, Hospitality, and Design.
