James Earl Romine. Preference to full-time students with a parent who is a law enforcement officer from Colbert, Franklin, or Lauderdale counties in Alabama. Otherwise, preference to son or daughter of law enforcement officer or to a criminal justice major. Selected by special committee.
Sociology and Criminal Justice Department. Full-time Sociology/Criminal Justice major nominated by department.
Not all endowed scholarships are awarded each year.
Dollar amounts of endowed scholarships vary, depending on
availability of funds.
