Endowed Scholarships for Health, Physical Education & Recreation (HPER) Majors
H.A. Flowers. Awarded to junior or senior. Preference given to HPER majors. Renewable if satisfactory progress is maintained.
George H. Gibbens. Awarded to a student majoring in HPER. The scholarship is for one year, but prior recipients may reapply.
Ramona Brown Nelson. Junior or senior preparing for a career in health or health-related work. Preference given to students who plan careers as athletic trainers, in physiology or in medicine. Selected by the Athletics Department.
Not all endowed scholarships are awarded each year.
Dollar amounts of endowed scholarships vary, depending on
availability of funds.
