2011-2012 Online UNA/ Dream challenge scholarship application

The Coca-Cola Foundation and the alumni and friends of the University of North Alabama have created the UNA/Coca-Cola Dream Challenge Scholarship Fund for first-generation college students at UNA. The goal of the Coca-Cola Foundation is to make a real difference in the lives of students by making higher education dreams into reality.

Students who meet the requirements for enrollment at the University of North Alabama will be eligible to apply for UNA/Coca-Cola Dream Challenge Scholarships if they meet at least one of the following requirements: 1) Neither parent completed a baccalaureate degree; 2) Student resides in a single-parent home and this parent did not complete a baccalaureate degree.

Let the UNA Scholarship Committee know why you might be especially deserving of the UNA/Coca-Cola Dream Challenge Scholarship for first-generation students. Provide personal statements on your qualifications or unique needs for assistance. Please observe standard composition rules.

  • Scholarship amounts may vary by academic year. All applications must be received by the University of North Alabama by February 1, 2010. Scholarship recipients will be known as "Coca-Cola Partners." Previous recipients must reapply for subsequent years to be considered.

UNA Scholarship recipients must:

  • be enrolled as a full-time student (12 hours)

  • be in good academic standing

  • meet renewal criteria

  • fulfill the terms of scholarship agreement
