Jill Goode Englett graduated from the University of North Alabama in 1987 and began a career as a Dietary Director in Moulton, Alabama. She then moved to Huntsville, Alabama to continue her career as a Dietary Director before returning to school and completing on her didactic course work at Georgia Southern University in 1990.
Mrs. Englett completed her dietetic internship and passed the registered dietitian exam in 1991. She practiced clinical dietetics in a hospital in Georgia, before moving to Virginia where she continued her clinical work while beginning to specialize in renal nutrition.
While working in Virginia Mrs. Englett completed her M.S. degree in Clinical Nutrition at the East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in 1997.
After graduating from ETSU, Mrs. Englett returned to George working as a clinical dietitian in a hospital and a renal dietitian in a dialysis unit. Pursuing her love of renal nutrition, Mrs. Englett began working for Fresenius Medical Care Pharmacy Services as a Renal Nutrition Coordinator.
In 2000 Mrs. Englett joined Bone Care International as a Clinical Specialist, later becoming the Director of the Clinical Support Team, and then, Associate Director of Medical Affairs before joining the Human Environmental Sciences Department at UNA in 2005.
Mrs. Englett teaches Nutrition and Therapeutic Dietetics. She has the honor of serving as the adviser for the Kappa Omicron Nu honor society.
