Faculty - College of Nursing
The recruitment and retention of a highly qualified, diverse faculty is a tremendous challenge. The College’s commitment to the financial support of its faculty for educational development, as well as for continued nursing licensure requirements, is crucial to meet its other educational commitments. In the past ten years, the College has successfully supported seven (one-third) of its faculty to successfully obtain the doctoral degree. It continues to support eight additional faculty (one-third) in order to maintain program excellence for the coming years. As fully one-third of the faculty are poised for retirement, the College must remain committed to support its newly developing faculty who continue to teach full-time while completing their doctorates. Your financial support of this effort will truly be appreciated.
