Research, Teaching and Other Interests:

  • Dr. Saeki's research interests include Cultural Diplomacy in Asia (broadly constructed), Sino-Japanese Relations in their cultural context, as well as Modern Japan and its foreign policy.
  • Her dissertation is titled: Selling Democracy: U.S. Cultural Policy toward Japan, 1945–1960. (Bowling Green State University, 2003)
