Assistantships
Beginning in the fall of 2013, the Department of History and Political Science will be offering graduate assistantships for students enrolled in the Public History program. Students who are awarded assistantships will receive a tuition waiver for 9 credit hours (fall and spring) and a stipend in $9000 for the academic year.
Currently, two assistantships are offered. One graduate assistant will be working with the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area. The second graduate assistant will be working at the Collier Library Archives and Special Collections.
