Course Goals:

Develop an understanding of service opportunities and needs

Build leadership and management ability

Gain practical experience through community and public service

Course Grade:

Class attendance and participation - 60%

Regular discussion journals (due dates TBA: 1-2 pages typed & emailed) - 40%

Note: 10-15 hours of approved community service must be completed to receive credit for this course and remain in the Honors Program
