To alleviate many of the fears associated with receiving an unknown roommate, the Department of Housing has created its own Facebook page. Students who are seeking a roommate need only access the site and post a brief message detailing themselves. After two students decide they wish to room together, they should send an email to
housing@una.edu. This not only allows individuals to choose their own roommate, but to begin their college experience with pre-established relationships.
