January 6 Sunday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will open for occupancy at 1:00 p.m.
January 21 Monday
University closed for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday
All residence halls will remain open.
February 15-17 Friday - Sunday
University closed for Winter Break
All residence halls will remain open.
March 22 Friday
All traditional residence halls (Rivers, Rice, LaGrange and Lafayette) will close for spring holidays at 6:00 p.m.
March 31 Sunday
All traditional residence halls (Rivers, Rice, LaGrange and Lafayette) will open at 1:00 p.m.
May 12 Sunday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will close at 12:00 PM.

SESSION I

June 2 Sunday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will open for occupancy at 1:00 p.m.
June 28 Friday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will close for Session I at 6:00 p.m.

SESSION II

July 1 Monday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will open for occupancy at 1:00 p.m.
July 4 Thursday
University closed for Independence Day holiday
All residence halls will remain open.
July 29 Monday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will close for Session II at 6:00 p.m.

SESSION ONE & TWO COMBINED (EVENING PROGRAM AND SPECIAL COURSES)

June 2 Sunday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will open for occupancy after 1:00 p.m.
July 4 Thursday
University closed for Independence Day holiday
All residence halls will remain open.
July 29 Monday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will close for summer term at 6:00 p.m.

All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will open for occupancy after 1 p.m. for freshmen (students need to verify their check-in time)
August 18 Sunday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will open for occupancy after 1 p.m. for upperclassmen (students need to verify their check-in time)
September 2 Monday
University closed for Labor Day holiday
All residence halls will remain open.
October 25-27 Friday - Sunday
University closed for Fall Break
All residence halls will remain open.
November 27 Wednesday
University closed for Thanksgiving holidays
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will close at 6:00 p.m.
December 1 Sunday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) will open at 1:00 p.m.
December 14 Saturday
All traditional residence halls (Rice, Rivers, Lafayette, and LaGrange) close for Christmas break at 12 noon
