This year has been an exciting year for the Interior Design Program at the University of North Alabama. The following list some of the advancements for the program:

  • The completion of the new Drafting and Design Studio
  • New offices for the design faculty
  • Renovation of THE GALLERY, the student lounge and conferencing area.
  • New computers for the CAD Studio/lab.
  • New 12 color, 42” Photo quality plotter.
  • First accreditation of the design program by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
  • Re-accreditation of the design program by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).
  • Student entries in the NKBA National Design Competition.
  • Student entries in the NKBA/GE Design Charette.
  • State NKBA meeting on campus with national officer as speaker.
  • Student design work featured at the UNA/Depart. Of Human Environmental Sciences Culinary Center.
  • Student participation in the Tennessee Valley Arts Association Christmas Tree Designs, our theme – THE β€œART OF THE HOME.”
  • Mr. Patel attended the Autodesk Viz 2008 workshop in Baltimore, MD.
