This year has been an exciting year for the Interior Design Program at the University of North Alabama. The following list some of the advancements for the program:
- The completion of the new Drafting and Design Studio
- New offices for the design faculty
- Renovation of THE GALLERY, the student lounge and conferencing area.
- New computers for the CAD Studio/lab.
- New 12 color, 42β Photo quality plotter.
- First accreditation of the design program by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
- Re-accreditation of the design program by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).
- Student entries in the NKBA National Design Competition.
- Student entries in the NKBA/GE Design Charette.
- State NKBA meeting on campus with national officer as speaker.
- Student design work featured at the UNA/Depart. Of Human Environmental Sciences Culinary Center.
- Student participation in the Tennessee Valley Arts Association Christmas Tree Designs, our theme β THE βART OF THE HOME.β
- Mr. Patel attended the Autodesk Viz 2008 workshop in Baltimore, MD.
