My name is Mrs. Sanders, and I have been teaching since 1996. I attended the University of North Alabama where I received my Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Education Specialist degrees in Elementary Education. Over the span of my teaching career, I have taught sixth grade. The students of this age have always inspired me. Each year, I love to see the “wheels turning” as they process new information and take ownership of their learning! I have been happily married to Kent Sanders for nine years, and we have one daughter, Ella, who is a Kindergarten student at Kilby this year!! My hobbies are reading, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time by the pool (in the summertime) with my family!!
