I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama and my Master’s from the University of West Alabama. I am currently working on becoming Nationally Board Certified. I taught 4th grade for 3 years before coming to Kilby. This is my second year as the Media Specialist at Kilby and I believe I have the best job in the world. The best part about my job is being able to work closely with every student and every teacher in the school. I look forward to my daughters being Kilby Kids in the future.
I have been married to Josh for 6 years. We have two of the most precious baby girls ever. Hadley turned 2 in July and Tess was born in June. My husband is a professional rodeo cowboy so we spend most of our time traveling to rodeos, team ropings, and our newest event, team pennings. We have 4 horses, 3 dogs, and a donkey.
Other than spending time with my family and riding horses I read every chance I get. Shel Silverstein and Stephanie Meyer are two of my favorite authors. I also enjoy playing ANY sports and I am a self proclaimed ping pong champion!
