Student Leader of the Month
In the Office of Student Engagement, we view leadership as a process and not a position, meaning that leaders are constantly learning new skills and enhancing their abilities in the roles that they have in organizations and on campus. A true leader does not need a title to lead. The student leader of the month award is to recognize the students who go above and beyond to make the University of North Alabama a thriving campus. Each month during the academic year, we will honor a student with the title of Student Leader of the Month. Recognized students will be individuals who have committed themselves to making UNA the place it is and to making it better, while demonstrating leadership not only on campus, but in the classroom as well.
Please Note: this award is not contingent upon a student holding certain titles on campus and in organizations.
