Volunteer of the Month
In the Office of Student Engagement, we view volunteerism and service to the surrounding community (and those visited on Alternative Break trips and home communities) as part of citizenship and bettering the world. Serving others is a form of leadership that should be recognized.
The volunteer of the month award is to recognize the students who go above and beyond to make the Shoals community, as well as the University of North Alabama, a better place. Each month during the academic year, we will honor a student with the title of Volunteer of the Month. Recognized students will be individuals who have committed themselves to serving others and making a difference in the world, however small their contribution may be.
Please Note: this award is not contingent upon a student holding certain titles on campus and in organizations.
