Reference Assistance for Distance Learning
Telephone, mail, or e-mail assistance is available to distance education students who need help developing research strategies or locating information sources (Toll free 1-877-765-6110 or locally 256-765-4469). UNA distance education students should identify themselves and clearly state their information need. Some questions are easily handled by the librarian staffing the Information Desk; others require more time. Responses are provided as soon as possible. Students requesting assistance should provide a phone number and e-mail address or other means of contact. An appointment may be set up for in-depth consultation with a reference librarian.
