F.O.R.E. – (Freshmen Orientation and Resource Educators) Advisors are upper class students who live in the residence halls and volunteer their time to help new residential students with their transition to college life and residential living. F.O.R.E. Advisors plan welcome week activities, are available to advise students, provide academic resources and programs, and serve as a resource and contact for new residential students. LaFayette Hall Council - The purpose of the organization is to be a Hall Council that is concerned with encouraging student growth and development of skills such as leadership, organization, and communication.  The Hall Council has been structured to create better channels for input, feedback and involvement of residents in decision-making when possible.  Though this, programming will be promoted and geared toward the needs and growth of the students, thereby raising the quality and value of programming and residence hall living.  This format is designed to increase student community development and involvement.  The LHC is a branch and shall report to the RHA.

National Residence Hall Honorary – The purpose of this organization shall be to provide recognition for those individuals living in the residence alls who have provided important leadership in the advancement of the residence hall community, and to promote activities that encourage leadership qualities in residents. Membership is limited to sophomore classification or higher with other qualifications. For more information please contact Residence life at 765-5579.

Resident Assistants – Resident Assistants are student leaders who reside on and oversee a floor within the Residence Halls on campus. They are responsible for the day-to-day management of the floor, serve as a campus resource, community builder, friend, and policy enforcer. They are selected for the Scholarship Position during the fall and also the spring. Further information can be obtained by calling Residence Life at 765-5558.

RHA – The Residence Hall Association serves as the governing body for all residential students. RHA is the connecting link between residential students and the Residence Life Staff; it recommends housing policies, and sets standards and procedures for implementing policies in the halls. RHA also plans major programs and activities for the halls such as dances, holiday parties, educational speakers, etc. All residents are automatically members of RHA, so take advantage of this great opportunity for developing leadership, making friends, and making a real difference in your living environment! The Officers and Committee Chairs comprise the Executive Council, and are elected by the residents. Weekly meetings are scheduled and are open to all residence hall students.
