Dr. R.H. Rivers, president of LaGrange College, leads most of the college’s students and all but one faculty member from LaGrange Mountain in northeast Franklin County, Ala., to Florence. After moving to Florence, LaGrange College is reincorporated at Florence Wesleyan University.
