The Boston Celtics and the Atlanta hawks played the first basketball game in Flowers Hall on Oct. 5, 1972. The game was an exhibition that drew a crowd of more than 4,000. Since Flowers Hall opened, it has been the scene of 382 UNA victories and only 117 defeats in more than 30 years of history.
