I have always had the passion to succeed and continuously strive for excellence. As a curious child growing up in Sulligent, Alabama, I witnessed the difficulty many adults endured in seeking and maintaining steady employment. This experience instilled in me the desire to become successful with the understanding that the complexity of today's business environment requires higher education. With that in mind, I successfully achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and maintained an overall GPA in the top ten percent of all seniors in the Management and Organization Department. To prepare me to achieve even greater leadership responsibility and success, I was later accepted into the Executive Master of Business Administration program at the University of North Alabama (UNA).

UNA's Executive MBA program has provided me with relevant business concepts to equip myself with the skills necessary to prosper as a senior leader in business and achieve overall educational success. The relationships I have developed with fellow classmates have been the most monumental part of my MBA experience. Networking with students from diverse career backgrounds allowed dynamic exchange of ideas in group projects. This interaction also allowed us to function as high performance teams and fully maximize the MBA experience as we successfully fulfilled the challenging requirements of each course (i.e., Cost Accounting, Managerial Finance, and Management Policy).

The EMBA program has allowed me to continue working full-time as a Program Manager at UAB while earning my Master's degree through the online delivery format. This accomplishment provides a platform for promotion into various Human Resources/Administration, Operations, and General Management positions and further extending my professional capabilities. I would HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone seeking to enhance their career prospects while achieving the keys to overall personal and professional growth and success.
