Information regarding the
University's New Website Design

These website templates are available ONLY to those departments who have the knowledge and understanding to migrate their own site into the new design.
Website Templates
The University Webmaster (Jeremy Britten) will be available to answer any questions and help in any way. Jeremy will monitor those sites that handle their own migration and will make sure the pages comply with the new website style guidelines.
This download is a .ZIP file containing a template only to be used by those working in pure XHTML & CSS. It makes use of PHP includes for the header and footer of the template. If you don't fully understand pure CSS or XHTML, this template IS NOT for you.
Dreamweaver / FrontPage / SharePoint template
This download is a .ZIP file containing a .DWT template (Dynamic Web Template). To install this template, make a directory called Templates in the folder on your computer where you keep your web pages. Move the downloaded (and unzipped) template into this directory, and you should be able to select it when you choose File -> New From Template.
NOTE: After nine years of being an award-winning Web authoring tool, FrontPage was discontinued by Microsoft in 2006. They replaced it with SharePoint and Expression Web. Because Frontpage has not been updated for a couple of years, it will not preview these templates correctly. However, if you stick to making TEXT ONLY changes, once you publish your updated page, everything will look correct on the web.
