Training Registration


Course: AR-15 for the Law Enforcement Officer Level 2 Course

The North Alabama Law Enforcement Training Center will host an 8 hour AR-15 for the Law Enforcement Officer Level 2 Course on October 27, 2009.

Class will begin at 8:00 AM. Cost of the Course is $60.00 per participant. Tuition for the course will include refreshments, hand-outs, manuals, CDs.

Class size is limited to 10 participants. Registration can be made online at www.una.edu/naletc. ****A One Week Cancellation notice must be given for the above class, or the participant and/or department will be charged the full amount****.


**********EACH PARTICIPANT MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE BASIC AR-15 FOR THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER or AR-15 FOR THE L.E. OFFICER LEVEL 1 COURSE TO ATTEND THIS COURSE***********

Topics that will be covered include:
Deployment of AR-15 with Ballistic Shields (Shields will be provided)
One hand operation of the AR-15
Strong/weak hand operation
Transition Drills
Injured officer operation of AR-15
Shoot-Don’t Shoot Practical Exercises

Each participants needs to bring:
AR-15 Platform Rifle (.223, 7.62 x 39. or .9mm)
Minimum of three magazines for AR rifle
300 rds of Ammunition for AR rifle
Sling **MANDATORY** 3 point or 1 point sling recommended)
Handgun with three magazines
100 rds of Ammunition for handgun
Duty belt with holster/ or tactical holster
Hearing/eye protection
Hat
Body Armor (Tactical or Concealable) **MANDATORY**
Note taking material

Optional equipment:
Hydration Equipment (canteen/ Camelback)
Kevlar Helmet
Knee/Elbow Pads
Rain Gear
Other tactical equipment normally utilized
