Heckler & Koch Pistol for the Law Enforcement Officer Level 1 Course

 

   The North Alabama Law Enforcement Training Center will host an 8 hour Heckler & Koch Pistol for the Law Enforcement Officer Level 1 Course.  The course will be held November 30,  2009 with class beginning at 8:00 AM.  This course has been approved for 8 hours of CEU Credit. 

 

   The cost of this course is $50.00.  Refreshments will be served. 

 

   Registration can be made online at www.una.edu/naletc.  Class registration is limited to 10 participants.     A minimum of 5 participants is needed to hold this course. 

 

 ****A One Week Cancellation notice must be given for the above class, or the participant and/or department will be chargd the full amount****.

 

Heckler & Koch Pistol for the Law Enforcement Officer Level 1

 

 

   Heckler & Koch is most famous for it’s Battle Rifles and Machine Guns.  However, H&K Pistols have a stable platform in Law Enforcement and Military Service.  This course is designed around the H&K Platform Pistols. 

 

 

***This is a physically demanding course****

 

This course will cover the following:

History of Heckler & Koch Pistols

Strong and Support Hand usage of the Heckler Koch Pistols

Various modifications to the Heckler & Koch Pistols

Awkward position firing with the Heckler Koch Pistols

  

Each participant will need:

 

-Comfortable clothing (You will get dirty)

-Shoes or boots with ankle support

-Belt with strong and support side holsters.  (Nylon holsters can be utilized. 

-Heckler & Koch Pistol including USP, P7, P9s, P-2000 and P-3000 Series Pistols.

-At least two magazines.

-250 rounds of practice ammunition

-Eye and ear protection

-Eye Protection

-Body Armor  (***Mandatory****) 

-Knee pads/ elbow pads  (optional)

-Hydration System (Camelback or canteens)  (Optional)

-Note taking material
