Beretta Pistol for the Law Enforcement Officer Level 1 Course

   The North Alabama Law Enforcement Training Center will host an 8 hour Beretta Pistol for the Law Enforcement Officer Level 1 Course.  The course will be held July 29,  2009 with class beginning at 8:00 AM.  This course has been approved for 8 hours of CEU Credit. 

   The cost of this course is $50.00.  Refreshments will be served. 

   Registration can be made online at www.una.edu/naletc.  Class registration is limited to 10 participants.     A minimum of 5 participants is needed to hold this course. 

 ****A One Week Cancellation notice must be given for the above class, or the participant and/or department will be chargd the full amount****.

Beretta  Pistol for the Law Enforcement Officer Level 1

   Beretta Pistols have been in Law Enforcement and Military Service for some time.  With the introduction of the PX4 Series of Pistols, Beretta U.S.A. has taken steps to compete in the Polymer Frame Law Enforcement Market.  The course is designed for Law Enforcement Officer or Military Personnel that utilize the Beretta Pistol.     

***This is a physically demanding course****

This course will cover the following:

History of Beretta Pistols

Strong and Support Hand usage of the Beretta Pistols

Various modifications to the Beretta Pistols

Awkward position firing with the Beretta Pistols

Each participant will need:

-Comfortable clothing (You will get dirty)

-Shoes or boots with ankle support

-Belt with strong and support side holsters.  (Nylon holsters can be utilized. 

-Beretta Pistol including 92/96, Cougar, 90-Two, or PX-4 Series.

-At least two magazines.

-250 rounds of practice ammunition

-Eye and ear protection

-Eye Protection

-Body Armor  (***Mandatory****) 

-Knee pads/ elbow pads  (optional)

-Hydration System (Camelback or canteens)  (Optional)

-Note taking material
