Registration can be made online at www.una.edu/naletc. Class registration is limited to 10 participants. A minimum of 5 participants is needed to hold this course.

Concealed Carry for the Law Enforcement Officer
This course was
designed to inform the Law Enforcement Officer on different aspects of concealed
carry. All Officers should utilize
some form of firearm during their off-time to protect themselves and others.
In the age of Semi-auto
pistols, the revolver is often overlooked as a Law Enforcement Tool.
However, Law Enforcement Officers utilize revolvers as a back-up or
concealed carry option.
This course is designed for all of the above. Participants can utilize Full-Size or Back-up type revolvers or Semi Auto Pistols during this course.
***This is a physically demanding course****
This course will cover the following:
Modern Revolvers and Pistols
HR-218
Strong and Support Hand usage of the revolver and pistols
Various reloading type devices
Awkward position firing with the revolver and pistol
Each participant will need:
-Comfortable clothing
(You will
get dirty)
-Shoes or boots with ankle support
-Concealment holster (Ankle, Belt, Shoulder).
-Concealment Garment. ALL
FIRING STAGES WILL BE FROM CONCEALMENT.
-Quality Double Action Revolver of at least .38 Special Caliber
or Semi-Auto Pistol of at least .380 ACP.
-At least two reloading devices for above.
Speedloaders or Speed Strips for Revolvers and Magazines for Semi-Auto
Pistols.
-250 rounds of practice ammunition
-Eye and ear protection
-Eye Protection
-Body Armor (***Mandatory****)
-Knee pads/ elbow pads (optional)
-Hydration System (Camelback or canteens) (Optional)
-Note taking material
