Tactical Medic Level 1
Tactical Medic Tac-I is for
EMRs, EMT-Basics, Intermediates, Paramedics, RNs, Doctors, and EMT Students
operating with or interested in operating with a Tactical Team/SWAT/SRT. The
Tactical Medic Training Tac-I course is an introduction into the basics of
Tactical Operations and Tactics. This is not to teach you how to treat a
patient, but when and were it is safe/safer to do so, combined with Tactical
Maneuvers. No tactical experience is needed. The class is designed to take an
individual with no Tactical Training and teach them basic building and room
approach, entry, clearing, threat engagement, and security methods while
treating patients.
This is not a "Classroom"
training session. The majority of this course will be hands on field operations.
No live rounds will be fired.
This is a
physically demanding course.
Class length: Two days, 12 hours a day.
Each
participant will need:
Comfortable clothing
Boots or shoes with ankle support
Belt with holster
Elbow and Knee Pads (Optional)
***Camel Back Hydration System will be useful***

3. State Statues
4. Tactical Medical Considerations
5. Entry Tactics
6. School Shootings
7. Search Warrants
8. Use of Force
9. Less Lethal and Lethal Force
10. Room clearing
11. Weapon handling during Tactical Maneuvers
Ring’s Blue Guns will be provided for everyone in the
course. No live firearms will be
needed or allowed.
