UNA Planetarium and Observatory Public Tour Itinerary

Each evening will consist of a planetarium show covering relevant or current topics in astronomy and an observing session with an observatory telescope if the weather permits. The observing session should be considered an "ad-on" to the planetarium program. We cannot garentee weather conditions will always allow observing. The program lasts about 1.5 hours depending on observing conditions and how long you can handle the "cold"!
We expect to run four planetarium shows per Public night.
Groups will be divided up with each hour one group doing a planetarium show and the other at the observatory.
Tour times depend upon the time of sunset and so will change seasonally. Please check the schedule before you depart.
Included in the tour:
- Planetarium Show at the UNA Planetarium
- Observing Session at the Observatory
- Free posters, bookmarks andother stuff from space missions when we have it.
