The President's Cabinet

Office of University Admissions

Activities

As a Cabinet member, your service will be to assist the University President through counsel, communication and assistance in soliciting sources of private financial assistance.

You will meet with the Cabinet twice each year, during the fall and spring semesters. Special meetings also may be called by the UNA President or the Cabinet Chairman. At each regular meeting, the Cabinet receives a report from the President on the general state of the University, meets and interacts with students and faculty, and hears presentations of local, state and national interest and on events of particular significance.

As a Cabinet member, you may also be asked to serve on one of the group’s five committees – the Steering Committee, Membership Committee, Program Committee, Calendar Committee and External Affairs Committee. These internal groups carry a variety of responsibilities, from Cabinet goals and policies to membership nominations to organization of donor cultivation events.
