PRE-K REGISTRATION OPEN FOR KILCHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER IN MARCH

FLORENCE, Ala. — The Kilby Child Development Center will accept applications for the 2008-09 Alabama Office of School Readiness Pre-kindergarten class March 3-20.
Registration is open to children who will be 4 years old by Sept. 1. To register, bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate, social security card, blue-slip immunization card and proof of Alabama residency. Class selection is based on a lottery system, with names being drawn April 2.
The pre-K class requires regular school day attendance of all participants, and all fees are based on a sliding scale. To register, visit the Kilby Child Development Center at 609 North Pine Street any time from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
