SHOALS SYMPHONY AT UNA PRESENTS DANCING INTO THE SPRING CONCERT

FLORENCE, Ala.—The Shoals Symphony at the University of North Alabama presents Dancing Into the Spring as part of the 2008 Fine Arts Festival, May 4 at 2 p.m. in Norton Auditorium.
Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for students.
Featured pieces include: “Hungarian Dance No. 5” by Brahms, “Habanera” by Chabrier, “The Blue Danube Waltz” by Strauss Jr., “Russian Sailor’s Dance” by Gliere, “Express Polka” by Strauss Jr., “The Waltzing Cats” by Anderson, “Slavonic Dance No. 2” by Dvorak and “Menuet” by Mozart.
Viljar Puu Weimann will conduct. There will also be a performance by the Hoffmeister Young Artist Concerto Competition winner Adrian Pajaro-van de Stadt.
