RADECKI HONORED AT EDINBORO UNIVERSITY

FLORENCE, Ala. – University of North Alabama head volleyball coach Stephanie Radecki was inducted into the Edinboro University Athletic Hall of Fame April 26 in Edinboro, Pa. She was one of 10 new inductees.
Radecki, who has coached at UNA since February 2004, starred as a member of the Edinboro volleyball team from 1993 to 1996. While at Edinboro, she was named Female Athlete of the Year, was the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a senior and was chosen All-PSAC and All-Atlantic Region twice. She was also a team captain.
With Radecki on the team, Edinboro made two Elite Eight appearances, capturing two Atlantic Region crowns and one conference championship.
Radecki served one year as a student assistant coach at Edinboro, helping lead the team to the league championship.
As head coach for UNA, Radecki has led the volleyball team to three Gulf South Conference championships and three NCAA Division II National Championship appearances, including a semifinal win in 2006.
