UNA NATIONAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SEEKS NOMINATIONS FOR 2008 UNA ALUMNI OF THE YEAR

FLORENCE, Ala. – The University of North Alabama Alumni Association is seeking nominations for its 2008 Alumni of the Year. To be eligible a nominee must have graduated from UNA at least four years prior to the time of nomination, have a career of a highly credible nature and have contributed significantly in service endeavors.
The award categories are political service, community service, military service and faculty/staff. The award for Friend of the University honors an individual or organization for service on behalf of the university.
Nominations must be received by the Office of Alumni Relations by May 15. Nominations may be e-mailed to alumni1@una.edu and must include the nominee’s address and phone number. Biographical information will be appreciated but is not required.
The awards will be presented during Homecoming 2008, which will be held Oct. 24 and 25.
