University of North Alabama Releases Names of Scholarship Recipients

FLORENCE, Ala. – Officials with the Office of Student Financial Services at the University of North Alabama have released the list of this year’s scholarship recipients.  The recipients cover a broad swath of the campus community, representing education, accounting and chemistry, to name a few.

Ross Howell Hampton of Addison, Alabama, received a Department of Accounting and Business Law Book Royalties Scholarship.  Hampton, a senior, is majoring in accounting and music performance. Loukisha V. Armstead and Hannah Bailey Kemp, both of Muscle Shoals, received the UNA Memorial Endowed Scholarship. Armstead is a senior majoring in child development with a minor in psychology. Kemp is an incoming freshman with plans to major in education.

Hanna Marie Richardson of Killen, also an incoming freshman, received the Robert M. Guillot Endowment Scholarship.  Richardson has chosen to major in chemistry; and Kamisha Shantel Garner of Florence received the African American Endowed Scholarship and the Presidential Mentors Academy Scholarship.  A sophomore, Garner is currently undecided but is considering a major in business.
