Baccalaureate
Degree Candidates
should apply for graduation two (2) semesters PRIOR to their
expected semesters of graduation. (For most students this will be
upon successful completion of 96 hours).
Graduate
students should apply for graduation two (2) semesters PRIOR
to their expected semester of graduation. Graduate students must
have the following information in their academic file in the Registrar's
Office before the application can be processed:
- Program
of study
- Admission
to candidacy form
Your advisor
will provide these two forms for you
How to apply for
Graduation
- Pick up
application for Graduation form in the Office of the Registrar,
College of Business, College of Education or copy and
return the application form which is provided.
- Submit completed
application to the Cashier's Window with the required $30.00 fee
or pay by credit card when submitting the printed application
shown above. ( An Application for Graduation will NOT be
accepted until the graduation fee is paid).
- The Office
of the Registrar will perform a preliminary degree audit and notify
each student and his/her adviser in writing of the remaining degree
requirements.
- The Application
for Graduation is valid only for the term indicated unless a CHANGE
OF GRADUATION FORM has been filed with the registrar. If it becomes
necessary to revise your expected date of graduation, you must
file a CHANGE OF GRADUATION APPLICATION FORM no later than the
last date to drop a class prior to your intended date of graduation.
If no change form is filed, or if degree requirements are not
met, there will be a Dated Diploma Fee of $3.50.

Prospective Graduation List
Is your name on the prospective graduation
list? The prospective graduation list will be posted
across from the Cashier's Window in the basement of Bibb Graves
Hall. Questions should be directed to the Registrar's Office -
upstairs - Room 119
