Department of Residence Life

The Alternative Fall Break Program in the Department of Residence Life is designed as an opportunity to spend the three days during the Fall Break assisting different community organizations with service projects. For the Fall 2008 Break, a group of 28 students and staff went to Memphis, TN to assist with three different projects. The first project saw the group working with the West Tennessee Family Solutions organization on Friday painting houses. On Saturday, the group volunteered at the national 2008 Gandhi-King Conference. On Sunday, the group assisted the National Down Syndrome Society with the Buddy Walk.
