Overview
Signed into law on February 17, 2009, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) is the largest combined spending and tax bill in American history, with a total of $787 billion available through spending and tax cuts. It impacts a wide range of entities and programs including healthcare, law enforcement, energy initiatives, infrastructure and education.
