Dr. Bill Foster

Dr. Bill FosterDr. Bill Foster was the heart of our storytelling festival and one of its biggest champions. We were so sad to lose him in September, 2012, and plan to pay tribute to the man who was our inspiration in so many ways during the opening ceremonies of the 2013 Festival. The host of the UNA Front Porch Storytelling Festival for the first two years, and a beloved figure on campus for 40 years prior to that, Dr. Foster cannot be replaced—but we will carry on because that is what he would want.
