Department of Music & Theatre
Haley Prestridge is a senior at the University of North Alabama studying Communication Arts with an emphasis in Theatre. She has been acting since 2010 when she made her stage debut at the Shoals Theatre, here in Florence, as Brooke Ashton in Noises Off. It was love at first rehearsal. She changed her major to theatre and has been an avid actor and supporter of the arts ever since. Some of her UNA stage credits are Evelyn Thompson in The Shape of Things and Bettina Barnes in Psycho Beach Party. In last Summer Theatre 2013’s production of A Streetcar Named Desire, Ms. Prestridge understudied and had one performance as the iconic Blanche DuBois. Some of her other stage credits include Maria Merrelli in Lend Me a Tenor, Laura in Laura, and Pickles in The Great American Trailer Park Musical. She is also a troupe member of Florence’s burlesque troupe, Basement Burlesque, which performs at least twice a year. She would like to thank Randal Myler for this amazing acting opportunity and her family and strong network of friends for their undying support and love.
