Graduate Programs

The programs of graduate studies are offered by the University of North Alabama through its colleges of arts & sciences, business, and education & human sciences under the direction of the deans of the colleges and the overall administration, coordination, and supervision of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, according to policies, procedures, and programs established by the Graduate Council and approved by the President and the Board of Trustees.

The University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor's, master's and education specialist degrees. The University holds specialized accreditation by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, the Council on Social Work Education (Baccalaureate), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, the National Association of Schools of Music, the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, and the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs. UNA is certified by The American Chemical Society.
