At the University of North Alabama, even orientation is a tradition! SOAR, or Student Orientation, Advisement, and Registration, is designed to prepare you for joining the UNA family. You'll have chance to meet your professors and classmates, be advised, become acquainted with campus, and register for classes.

For transfer students, SOAR is not required, but it is strongly encouraged! If you cannot attend SOAR, you will need to contact the University Success Center for advisement and registration.
